Help. In the wiki it stats that a baby zombie will always be a baby but it does not specifically state if a baby zombie villager, when cured, will grow up or not. I’ve just cured a baby zombie villager in my hardcore world in hopes to get the discounted trades but it seems like it’s not growing up in order to get a profession.
2 Answers. Yes, trades do stay. As you can see there is a massive discount. The only risk is the villager being killed to sunlight. A villager's trades, jobs, and job experience stay. You will receive massive discounts from the villager after you cure it. Other villagers will give smaller and temporary discounts.

Even if you go through the trouble of capturing one of these zombie villagers and finally deciding to experiment with them, they’ll eventually despawn. One of the main causes behind this is going too far away. Enemies tend to disappear when you
I think the difficulty matters, like if it’s hard mode then they will 100% always be zombified but on normal is I believe 50-75% chance to be zombified. quatre185. • 3 yr. ago. On normal there's a 50% chance of the villager dying from zombie attack, so I'd have a bunch of spares or change to hard. [deleted]
